Using Print Preview

Print Preview

Before printing, use the Print Preview button  to view the worksheet as it will print.   You will be able to see if you worksheet will fit on a single sheet of paper, and you will be able to make adjustments to the worksheet to make it fit better.

  • The Next and Previous buttons allow you to scroll through multiple pages.

  • The Zoom button changes the size of your preview.

  • The Print Button will take you to the Print dialog box.

  • The Setup button will take you to the Page Setup dialog.  This will be covered in depth on the next pages.

  • The Margins button will let you adjust margin sizes, by clicking and dragging them.

  • The Page Break Preview will allow you to se where page break will fall, and adjust them if necessary.

  • The Close button on the Print Preview toolbar will take you back to your spreadsheet.

  • The Help button will get you into Excel Help, if you need instructions to use this tool more effectively.
